Rapa Nui island is an island and special territory of Chile in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, at the most southeastern point of the Polynesian triangle in Oceania. The island is most famous for its nearly 1,000 extant monumental statues, called moai, which were created by the early Rapa Nui people its natural beauty and its charm and welcome people. On September 14th, Rapa Nui Island will hold the first Hopu Manu series world championship, its distance of 6k swim/paddle by 500m relays + 21.1 kms run/bike by 1km relays, makes this race the longest distance of all Hopu Manu races.
